“The new building is not a traditional market hall, meaning that multiple other functions were integrated into the building complex. The combined functions often result in sharing the same space inside the building, these are even more visible through the high ceilings and the vertical connections between the levels. The market hall builds up from smaller shop units and they are covered with a horizontal roof. The event center can be seen as an independent floating cube from all directions: it consists of many functions, with different interior designs, but its unified elevation only opens at the entrances.”
