“The constantly moving and changing glass surface of the building reflects the water of the Danube. In addition the façade in Lánchíd Street conveys clear architectural message. The luminous façade stands on the bank of the river like a “lighthouse”. The interactive, constantly changing surface of the façade repeatedly urges conversation and (in a good sense) provokes reflection in the dark and silent cityscape. The patterns of the neighbouring eclectic residential buildings' façades are characterised by some kind of ornamental repletion. The scenery is rephrased by the changing system of the hotel's glass lamellas and the surfaces' shading patterns, as well as the sand-blast butterfly ornaments on the artificial stone elements of the arches.”
