“The real speciality of the complex is that part of the building, which was partly built on old walls. Archaeologists had found only one opening on the old building. Its size was reproduced when designing the two old-new windows on the front façade. The homogeneous appearance of the wall is provided by a thin layer of slurry plaster. The façades of the new parts were made from minimum six centimetre thick yellow-grey stone, originating from nearby Mád. Also this material was used for the asymmetric roof, which resembles traditional pitched roofs. The front façade has a smooth surface, while the side walls and the gabled back façade is covered with tile-like stone panels.”
